Sonny Wharton – Dazed & Confused (Stoney Roads Premiere)

AUTOBAHN

This is a brand-new monster; a straight-up house cut, and we’re stoked to have been given the premiere!

He released ‘Pandemonium‘ earlier this year and was immediately championed by the likes of Fatboy Slim and Armand Van Helden to name just a few – it catapulted him straight into the Beatport Top 10 with Fatboy dubbing him the ‘Producer of the Year’ while Carl Cox labelled his ‘Raindance‘ single from 2013 one of the ‘Tracks of the Year’. DMC Magazine has hailed him “one of the finest new producers around”, and despite still being relatively new on the scene, he’s quickly becoming one of the hottest 4/4 prospects of recent years and rising the ranks of the UK with high-profile slots at Amnesia, Space and Pacha in Ibiza, as well as Ministry of Sound and a residency at Manumission. So it’s no surprise that Sonny Wharton‘s new single ‘Dazed & Confused’ – out on his own own Whartone imprint – is a club-ready belter primed for peak-time dancefloors with its low-slung vocal hook and almost-UKF bassline emphasising the funk; it’s a tune that’s going to be hard to dislike. Fans of house, techno, UKG, UKF, tech house, deep house and even genre purists will dig these sounds – they’re sitting on a really fun, easy-to-dance-to tip.

I highly recommend checking this jam out below, and if you want to hear more of Sonny Wharton then check out his latest monthly podcast here. ‘Dazed & Confused’ will be out February 24!
