Skrillex Shocks By Suddenly Pulling Out Of Stereosonic

OWSLA head honcho and all round nice guy Skrillex has pulled the plug on his Stereosonic dates where he was due to play with Boys Noize as their combined alias Dog Blood, although we still believe the German producer will perform under the DB moniker. This comes not long after his acoustic appearance for Above and Beyond.

The American producer who has vocalised that new Dog Blood material is on the way told his fans via Facebook:

‘Due to unfortunate circumstances that are beyond my control, I won’t be able to make the Dog Blood Stereosonic dates this year. For the record, I love the Stereosonic team and the One Love crew who puts on these events and this has nothing to do with them on their side. I will be spending the rest of this year finishing my new music but will be coming back to do some SKRILLEX shows over New Year’s Eve in a couple weeks and will be spending more time in OZ in ’14. Thanks and really looking forward to seeing you guys soon.’

Fear not fans, Skrillex is due to come to Australia for a headline performance where he will be playing inside his ‘spaceship‘ at this years Shore Thing as well as a series of other shows.

It appears that his music has taken his main focus. He hinted at a dream collaboration not long back. Could he be working on that?

Update: Official word from Stereosonice – Dog Blood will not be performing but Boys Noize will continue under his own name.

Dog Blood will not be performing this year, Please see message below from Skrillex but Boys Noize will 1000% be performing in all cities and we welcome GTA as a late addition to all shows except Adelaide
