SFX Entertainment Keeps On Expanding, Purchases Another Asset

Mega dance conglomerate SFX Entertainment – the Globo Gym of the EDM world have acquired another asset to their booming expansion and predicted $1,000,000,000 spending having already bought up a number of festivals including Belgiums frontier event Tomorrowland, the US version TomorrowWorld, online music retailer Beatport, Australia’s Stereosonic as well as German promotions company I-Motion.

Adding to that is – Flavorus, a 5000 partner strong ticketing company that offers ticketing solutions for a number of festivals and events including Electric Daisy Carnival, HARD Events, Pacha NYC, Beta nightclub and a host of other leading brands.

“We are excited to have Flavorus join the SFX family,” commented Robert FX Sillerman, Chairman and CEO of SFX Entertainment. “We are building a new, contemporary model for ticketing and their strength in complex technology, self-serve platforms and promotion will be very helpful as we introduce the next generation of ticketing experience to the music industry.”

This move places SFX Entertainment in an almost too-big-to-fail position by having control over literally every step of the process from booking to ticketing and even the final sale of artists music.

How do you feel about it all? We think SFX Entertainment should purchase exclusive rights to the mighty dagwood dog as a sound investment.
