Mr Oizo will release a new EP on Ed Banger Records this July.

Ed Bangers most obscure producer Mr Oizo has spilled on Twitter he will be releasing a new EP in July.

In typical strange ways the ‘Flat Beat’ producer let free a hint about the EP with a host of Facts, each giving a little bit more insight into the release.

Here’s what we know so far.

“FACT-1 about my new EP : mp3s will be free as usual, and EDREC will put out the vinyl for the true lovers.”

Huzzah, free works for us and paying for vinyl ain’t so bad

“FACT-2 about my new EP : it will be out on the 1st of July, on my shitty website. vinyls will be ready at the same time.”

1st of July? Nice that’s really soon and no Mr Oizo your web site doesn’t suck, we think it’s pretty damn clever.

“FACT-3 about my new EP : it’s been mastered today.”

Great news, hopefully it sounds as full as all your other material, especially that new one ‘Secram’ on the Ed Rec Vol. X compilation

“FACT-4 about my new EP : some bits are danceable.”

Woohoo, bit of a boogie to Mr Oizo. We’re hoping it’s one part ‘Postif’ and one part ‘Secam’
