Shadow Dancer – Second City E.P

The Anglo-Saxon wing of the Boys Noize cohort is back with another delicious slice of Neo-Acid. Blasting onto the scene in 2008 courtesy of the “Suck My Deck” series  Shadow Dancers Paul and Al Farrier have consistently been pleasing our ears with tracks such as last years Parallax, Cowbois, and a long player in the form of Golden Traxe. I managed to catch the Mancurian duo at a BNR showcase last year and their live show hit me hard, highlights included the relatively unknown “Together” and their remix of “Nott” This latest E.P showcases the duo’s appreciation of legendary dance label “Warp” and features the highly regarded but rarely replicated sound of acid the label has been championing as of late. The title track is the stand out tune but make sure to give the rest of the E.P your full attention.
