I was introduced to Rhye by my boyfriend. Sometimes it’s cool to listen to music outside of your spectrum… but I wasn’t aware how deeply entrenched into my taste this already was. The remix package for Open has been incredible with reimaginations spawning from Bondax, Ryan Hemsworth and SOHN so far. My favourite is from the ever mysterious SOHN, who since I first discovered has been really consistent. Sometimes I get sick of the consistent light airiness of SOHN’s production and stay away from it because it can become tedious but I feel it works perfectly with Mike Milosh‘s ethereal vocals.
