Renaissance Man – The Renaissance Man Project

Renaissance Man are back with a brand new album called ‘The Renaissance Man Project

The album overall is extremely experimental (Hence ‘Project’ being in the album title) in comparison to the style of music they made prior to this mega release. Listening through the album is like going on a journey with the combined elements of trip hop, ambient and tech music. Their sound design is out of this world and one to be admired by producers everywhere.

I couldn’t help but feel slightly disappointed because looking back at their discography I link and relate a lot of their popularity to the release of tech giant tracks like ‘Aloha’, their remix of ‘We are the bankers’ and of course the super popular ‘what is guru’. This opinion resonates with the fact no song stands out with their signature bold tech bass lines that have destroyed so many dance floors around the world.

Overall if you dig experimental music this is an album for you. Great sound design, fun drum grooves and good to chill out to!
