Serious deep business out of Brighton thanks to the Lucatwana lads with their ‘Bluestown’ piece. The duo have released a two track EP out on London-based imprint Bad Life, exuding those raw late night/early morning vibes. The ‘Messenger’ sets the tone early with a sweeping bass hook that will have you pulling shapes instantaneously, primed for those darkened dancefloors. Title track ‘Bluestown’ is just as infectious with a heavier vocal presence, including the great Gil Scott-Heron, and shoulder-moving synth work.
