Flume has remixed one of my personal 2011 favourites “Hyperparadise” from Australian beat-hop duo Hermitude!
In an all-Australian affair the original tweaked and synth-worked track has been chopped and changed into a compound of hand claps and soaring vocals.
Both Flume and Hermitude have gained notable accolades for their own interps of ‘electronic hip-hop’ akin to their world counterparts Rustie, Hudson Mohawke and Lunice.
There will be an EP including the winner of the Hermitude remix competition Cam Bluff (chasing more details).
