Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990‘s Night Slugs imprint released their newest white label vinyl at the end of October, and boy does NSWL016 deliver! With the 12″ covering Egyptrixx‘s ‘Water (Reduced)’ and the Helix bootleg of his ‘Adult’, the record gives us an encouraging insight into the forthcoming ‘A/B til Infinity’ LP. A compelling listen, the a-side covers techno influenced by the sounds of 03-06 grime, with Helix’s mix being outrageously nexx level hardcore club pressure. The original is serrated into fibrillating blast beats and stabbing shockwaves sounding like Jam City doing gabber; it’s proper dancefloor futurism and thoroughly recommended.
