Just off the back of releasing their new self-titled album, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have had their ‘Life Is Hard’ single remixed by none other than melodic musician Teen Daze, and what’s better, they’ve released it for free. Teen Daze just released his latest EP ‘Glacier’ last month too (check that out here), and his ambient take on ‘Life Is Hard’ is another reason why I think he’s one of the best electronic producers around at the moment. Unsurprisingly beautiful, he compliments the band’s folk-rock vocals while adding his signature soul and heart-warming synths, and for anyone unfamiliar with the musician this is a great time to start. I don’t about you, but this one might be one of those I’m going to keep forever. Perfect when sunny and perfect in the rain; perfect when happy and oh-so-appropriate when sad.
