The title-track off Area Forty_One‘s new EP for Delsin is easily the stand-out. Out as a four-track release with accompanying tunes ‘Reminiscence’, ‘Freefall’ and ‘Isolated Soul’, ‘Nocturnal Passions Part I’ perfectly outlines this time of year for those in the north of Europe – long, dark, cold nights for production. Hailing from Holland, Area Forty_One is no doubt experiencing this at the moment and so the title of the EP is ever-so-fitting. So too is the tune – it’s techno-influenced electronica on a high level fit for a heads down, dark room vibe. It’s interesting stuff, and well-worth checking out if you’re into some more dramatic, darker sounds. He certainly has dem nocturnal passions.
