Motez Makes Big Promises With New EP

Make room for Motez!

April 4th marks the release of Motez Obaidi’s debut EP ‘Promise Me’ via kick-ass dance label Sweat It Out. Famous for his remixes (and there are plenty), the Adelaide dude gives us a taste of his upcoming EP with two very different tracks.

The lead single “Promise Me” is infused with 90’s house vibes and an awesome progression, escalating to the top through pop vocals and killer keys. But there’s a far deeper garage sound evident in it’s B-side “Bodyrock”, Motez marks his territory with all that bass. Notably this remix-wizard has given us his bass heavy take on “Embrace” by Goldroom, “Desert Night” by label mates RÜFÜS,  a rework of the 90’s classic “Don’t Call Me Baby” and his badass bootleg of “Gas Pedal“.

Catch him live this April in the upcoming HARDstraylia tour alongside Clockwork, Destructo and our very own Stoney Roads DJs! We had a peek in the crystal ball for Motez and his future looks promising. Yo Tez, give us some Mo’!

Stream the first two-tracks of ‘Promise Me’ or buy the whole thang on iTunes.
