Mak & Pasteman Deliver Two Hours of Heaving Bass Music For Rinse FM

For their monthly debut on Rinse FM, Mak & Pasteman delivered their first Materials show, named for their new label that just launched in May. The duo is clearly at the top of their game, bringing a ruthlessly deep mix that is impossible to hear just once. Traversing sonic spectrums of both dark and soulful terrain, it’s the perfect balance of tracks for bedroom listening and big room booming.

Featuring fresh squeezed beats like Christian Piers’ “The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Key“, Breach’s “Ode Oshi“, and Shenoda’s “Leslie Crowther“, the mix has that extra dash of bass slumpage that keeps the momentum cresting with dancefloor perfection.

With a Rinse FM premiere nothing short of masterful, they pay tribute to the wobble with James Welsh’s “" target="_blank">Trail Boss“, to the 909 with Bicep’s “NRG106“, add a touch of acid with Arnold Jarvis’s “" target="_blank">Take Some Time Out (Basic Soul Unit Remix)“, plus a new edit they just whipped up of Radio Slave’s “" target="_blank">Don’t Stop No Sleep.”

Don’t miss Matt Bridgewater and Craig McNamara turn out the M+P magic every first Friday of the month from 1-3am on Rinse.FM!
