Crookers – Miami Jetlag Mix

There’s a reason Phra’s nickname is Lucky Beard: he’s the shiznit, the Pope of Dope. It’s hard to think of another artist with as much swag, personality, intensity and goofiness as the sole Crooker. He turned Miami inside out this past March during WMC and Ultra, and here’s the outcome: a mix dedicated to the wrath of post-Miami jet lag.

The mix features new releases from his label Ciao Recs, some of his recent releases and collabs, and the upcoming “Ghetto Guetta/Heavy” (a ghetto version of a David Guetta track) that’s due out on his buddy Skrillex’s OWSLA imprint in a few weeks. It’s also full of sexy new tracks from other artists, opening gently with the second official release on James Zabiela’s Born Electric, “Hoyle Road” by Pedestrian, then building steam with Justin Martin’s remix of UZ’s “Trap Shit V13,” and Deetron’s “Reverse Skydiving” remix.

Keep up with Phra’s hilarious comments on Facebook and check out Magnetic Mag’s recent interview with him in Miami (which includes him talking about eating grasshoppers!):
