Accomplished French producer Laurent Garnier – who has been releasing music for over two decades has signed to the Ed Banger imprint.

The coming-of-age for the label was the recent introduction of a varying range of releases from Trevor Jackson, Flying Lotus and Squarepusher which has complimented the normally crunching electronic sounds brought about by foundational members Justice, SebastiAn and Mr Oizo.

According to a blog post by Pedro Winters (Busy P), the concept of the signing has been gestating for years with the deal finally being sealed “with some Mojitos on the beach”.

No release-date has been set for the new EP ‘Timeless’.
