It appears Lady Gaga has taken offense to South African rappers Die Antwoord‘s latest premiered music video ‘Fatty Boom Boom’!

The controversial video depicts a transgender version of the American pop idol visiting South Africa going on what would be considered an over the top stereotypical tour of the “concrete jungle” side of South Africa. The journey of Gaga is semi grotesque and designed to shock! I don’t want to give too much away as it is best to watch! (below!)

After the music video premiered less than 24 hours ago, Gaga took to retaliate the borderline insane story line by calling out on Twitter

“I find u freaky but you don’t have a hit. Hundred thousand tickets sold in SA. #thatmyshit”

Die Antwoord responded swiftly by replying (in relation to the music video)

“Lady… even tho u r ‘larger’ than us… we still cooler than u… plus we don’t have prawns in our private parts… haha!”

So who are you backing? Was it fair for Die Antwoord to depict Lady Gaga in this manner, or is Lady Gaga overreacting?
