Nope it’s not Gangnam Style (that came in at no. 3) clocking in 438,450,000 hits the most streamed song of 2013 is Baauer‘s “Harlem Shake”. The viral success story that all but saved Diplo’s label Mad Decent from folding,

According to the latest Nielsen report sharing stats and trends on how American listeners consume their music; audio and visual streaming has unsurprisingly trumped radio listens with Bruno Mars‘ When I was your man topping the radio plays list with a mere 329,000 plays in comparison. With an increase in service providers up 24% signs are pointing toward a digital streaming future for the masses.

You can catch Pennsylvania’s own Baauer at next year’s Future Music Festival alongside Deadmau5, Rudimental, Brodinski, Dada Life and more.
