Herves Top 5 Favourite Videos

After a rather intriguing interview with the UK’s Herve, we canvassed him for 5 of his all-time favourite videos.

Turns out the rather old school producer fairs away from most of the mainstay crap and picked out some emerging sounds and two rather classic takes.

Although not all the videos can proudly wear the ‘official’ tag, Herve has picked out some unique fan made videos to fill the place of those that don’t exist online.

His new album ‘Pick Me Up, Sort Me Out, Calm Me Down’ due out July 23rd, have a watch of the first music video for “How Can I Live Without You (Make It Right)” here.

Clams Casino – Natural
He has a brilliant and unique sound. This is one my favourites by him.

Aphex Twin – Heiosphan
Probably my favourite track by him. Reminds me of walking through fields of snow in the middle of winter.

Harold Budd and Brian Eno- The Pearl
This is actually a collaboration with Harold Budd who I think is equally brilliant. It’s called ‘The Pearl’ from the album The Pearl . The images someone has put with this may be a little cheesy but I like nothing more than lying on a Mediterranean beach, looking out to sea and listening to this tune.

N*E*R*D feat Lee Harvey – Lapdance
Another unique sound from a unique bunch of people. I loved a huge amount of what they did back then… Even the soppy ones like ‘Beautiful’!

Burial – Archangel
Love this tune. His albums remind me of getting in London taxis and driving through the night. Another unique talent.
