In a recent development in the relationship between Azealia Banks and her contracted label Interscope, the Harlem based dance music rapper has followed orders and handed her Twitter responsibilities over to them.
Azealia parted with the tweet “My days of twitter terror are about to be over. I have to turn over my password. :(“. Her reference to twitter terror can be directly associated with her insatiable appetite to beef with other producers and bands including Iggy Azalia, Baauer, The Stone Roses (at Future) just to name a few!
Although there is almost a 100% chance that her image will probably change ten fold, will the label taking away her main communication line to her fans effectively censor her? Is that acceptable in an age where people are pretty quick to pick up on real talk compared to PR talk? Did Azealia XTL and deserve her punishment?
