We reported in July that French beat monger and heartthrob Gesaffelstein is releasing his debut album on the 28th of October and ss of today we can finally can put a name to it – “ALEPH”. 

We might be reading into a bit too much, but ‘Aleph’ may be derived from Arabic and Hebrew origins, essentially translating into the letter ‘A’ or the number ‘1’, often connoting ‘the beginning’. Awfully appropriate given the fact that this is the DJ/producer’s first full length release, following the huge success of his ‘Conspiracy’ EP’s in 2011.

Along with unveiling the title of his highly anticipated debut, Gesaffelstein, aka Mike Levy, has given us a short teaser. It doesn’t reveal too much musically, but if earlier release ‘Pursuit‘ is anything to go by, we can expect some of Gesaffelstein’s trademark relentless, intense, bass rattling beats and some more brilliantly quirky videos coming from this album. We can’t wait!
