Four Tet to release new album ‘Pink’

Four Tet

London post-rock-electronicist Four Tet aka Kieran Hebden is set to release his eighth album this August.

Titled ‘Pink’ the full-length features a seemingly short eight tracks, although over half of those exceed that mark in characteristically long FT fashion (his debut single as Four Tet spanned 36 minutes!).

Recent musings with Burial and Radioheads Thom Yorke have propelled the solo performer towards a new audience appreciative of his ability to fuse techno, jazz and electronica.

Kieran explained; “I have been releasing a few vinyl only singles over the last year or so and this album called Pink brings together those tracks.  It will be released on the 20th August as a digital release on my Text label and there will also be a CD release in Japan through Hostess Entertainment on the 22nd August.  Two of the tracks, Lion and Peace For Earth, have not been released on vinyl yet but I plan to make that happen one day.”

‘Pink’ is due out August 20th on Text Records.
