Norman Cook or better known as veteran dance music producer Fatboy Slim will be the first ever to DJ in the UK Parliament.

The DJ is set to play at the terrace bar as part of a an event put on by the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation come March 6th, itself a Parliamentary charitable initiative called ‘ House the House’.

“House The House is giving young people the chance to have a voice, to be recognised for their endeavours and to engage with their communities to create change from the grassroots up. Last Night A DJ Saved My Life and House The House are great examples of what the whole music industry can achieve in an innovative way.”

With Fatboy Slim adding “I’ve played some exciting and unique places around the world from Bondi Beach to The Great Wall of China to Igloo but playing in the House of Commons might be the most unique to date.”

A competition is also being run for a support DJ, so UK heads get over to House the House for more details.

Norman released ‘Big Beach Bootique 5’ at the tail end of 2012, continuing his series of party led compilations, buy here.
