Diplo is set to produce iconic Australian singer/song writer Sia’s new album!

The news dropped in an interview in which the Major Lazer frontman told Rolling Stone he’d have a host of music released in 2013; “Everything from Tinie Tempah to Chris Brown to Sia. I have a lot of records coming out.”

Diplo seems to have his foot in most doors with his own successful projects Major Lazer and label Mad Decent while producing for the likes of superstars Beyonce, No Doubt and Usher – none of which have really struck a chord with us (maybe that’s the point?).

It won’t only be the original don on production duties though with Lilly Alens mastermind Greg Kurstin overseeing the entire process. His other work includes a mostly female roster with artists such as Santigold, Ladyhawke, Ke$ha, Marina and the Diamonds and Pink.

Sia is no stranger to dance music with vocal features on a host of commercial hits including two with David Guetta (Titanium & ) and Flo Rida’s “Wild Ones”

This might be one of the few pop albums we could enjoy (or not)!
