Dim Mak Records brings ‘metalstep’ with the Killbot project

The demise of mainstream metal was imenint with the introduction of heavier electronic music. With band-centric events like Van’s Warped tour loosing steam with each and every year, those rockers had to go somewhere. Dim Mak has the answer with Killbot. A group centered by Korn vocalist Jonathan Davis teamed up with Sluggo and Tyler Blue on production. Many people seemed worried when Korn front-man showed up in the electronic scene, but for dubstepper it seems to have turned out alright. Pounding bass, guitar melodies, and an all to familiar vocals seems to be the next step for heavy womped bass.
