We are to be once again graced by the weird and amazing vibes of South African rap-rave crew Die Antwoord sooner than we think, with the dynamic trio of Ninja, Yolandi Visser and DJ Hi-Tek laying out their plans for their new album, ‘Donker Mag’ and its imminent global rollout.

The plan in Die Antwoord talk goes like ‘dis’, as spoken to their fans on social media:

1. “We just finisht recording DM album // its busy getting mastered now 2make it sound evn more xtra nice busy finishin up DM album artwork at da moment”
2. “Den DM album gets set-up 4 synchronized world-wide release (which takes a second)”
3. “While dats happening we make video 4 nxt DM single”
4. “Den just b4 DONKER MAG world tour starts we drop new video and DM album”
5. And finally and probably most important “we all enter da nxt dimension”

‘Fokken’ brilliant to see this all finally happening. We are definitely most excited for their collaboration with long-time, equally-as-wacky friend Aphex Twin, who is set to feature / has already collaborated on the first single. I wonder if they’re set to make a music video as memorable as the left-of-centre ‘Widowlicker’.
