Ultimate opinion maker and Ferrari enthusiast Deadmau5 has lost his shit over ticket prices for an up-coming show of his in the new year. When finding out that ticket prices had doubled from $50 to $100 for an event of his in Montreal January 3rd at the New Gas City he took to Twitter (of course) to join fans in their overall disappointment.

Within hours a fix was quickly put into motion with the Mau5trap label owner heading directly to the management of the venue to sort out the price by reducing it to what fans had been paying a year ago and as an added bonus an extra show to prove to his Montreal family he was on their side.

Even though he’d promised to take a break from Twitter and get back into the studio Deadmau5 has done the right thing by fans and keeping ticket prices in check. Hopefully those in Montreal will up the ante than the geeks who just couldn’t get down to the Mau5 earlier in the year. We’re still waiting on his Soundcloud killer but at least we’ve got a few answers from the man himself, although we’d have to agree that “Flute” track stinks.
