DCUP Announces New Label

Melbourne disco veteran DCUP (Duncan MacLennan) has annouced the launch of his own record label.

Best known for his collaboration with Yolanda Be Cool’s hit “We No Speak Americano“, he has also been a major player within the indie dance elite. He has been around the traps for a while  releasing the odd bootleg remix along with his own originals, including his own EP “Style” on AJAX’s Sweat It Out label.

With his new single on the verge of release, Dcup has announced his new label “Chookie” (named after his grandma). He joins Los Angeles artist manager Jerry Soer and  DJ culture buff, Lola Siren to gather tallent from across the globe.

Dcup is all set to drop his latest track “I’m Corrupt” as the debut release on Chookie and has lined up an impressive trio of remixes as well, with the likes of Viceroy, Peking Duk and Sam La More.

Make sure to get your ears around Dcup’s “Introducing… Chookie” mix and the previews for his new single.

“Chookie is about to renew your faith in all things electronic.”
