Converse Get Loud Wrap Up

Our acoustic brother over at Converse are supporting the Australian Band scene. (Kind of like we are doing with Australian dance scene with Stoney Roads: Volume One.)

The concept has been to put some of the region’s best emerging music talent into one-off venues around the country, creating free and intimate live music experiences for fans. Some of the best moments from the Converse Get Loud live music series are captured in this video:

Bands and DIY venues:
– King Khan and the BBQ Show and Palms at some guy’s house in Sydney
– Drunk Mums, Gung Ho and Bad//Dreems in a freemason meeting room in Adelaide
– DZ Deathrays, Ham Jam and Doctopus at a temporary art space in Perth
– The Laurels, The Murlocs and Tiny Migrants inside a metal chain factory in Brisbane
– Millions and Scotdrakula at a warehouse in Melbourne
– Kody Nielson and Raw Nerves at a 1940’s jazz hall in Auckland

Converse will continue to support live music and local artists. The Get Loud series followed the success of 2012’s Converse Acts of Disruption tour (Bleeding Knees Club, Drunk Mums, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Royal Headache, The Murlocs)

This post is brought to you by our friends at Converse!
