It’s long been urban legend that versatile hip hop producer Rustie is an avid viewer of any and all YouTube videos involving cats. Well assuming he’s picked up another moniker for himself, this feline-themed EP hints that there might be some truth to that (completely fabricated) rumour. Tomfoolery aside, it’s clear that these two producers definitely come from the same stunning pod.

Having sampled more pussy than a veteran porn star, Norway’s Cashmere Cat oozes out tunes that definitely catch your attention. However it’s the lush blend of orchestral instruments, bent-outta-shape vocals, and thick, fuzzy synths that really do the job of making it good music.
