Azealia Banks Debuts Song From Long Overdue Album

Azealia Banks has released a new track ‘Contessa’ from her forthcoming album ‘Fantasea II: The Second Wave’ set to be released about half way through next year… Which in theory makes this a very VERY early preview to say the least. The Harlem based rapper who will be performing at Australia’s latest touring party, Listen Out, has spat vocals over the Lone produced track who she has worked with previously with with on ‘Liquorice‘.

Banks talked about the origins of the song’s name ‘Contessa’ via her very active Twitter explaining a ‘female would be considered a “Countess” And the “Count” is a play on the female with male strength.’

Fantasea II: The Second Wave will be out on the 11th of July 2014.
