It seems as though the idealistic duo made up of Canada’s leading Producer DEADMAU5 and the soulful vocals of London’s IMOGEN HEAP (recently dubbed as HEAPMAU5) are calling out to the world’s animators to design their own creative segments for their new track ‘Telemiscommunications‘.

According to numerous sources including Mixmag, the musical team have summoned a competition for any keen and aspiring animators out there and get some global recognition for their animating skills.

Not a bad deal if you ask me!

All contestants will be inclined to follow a strict set of rules made up by HEAPMAU5, and are given a  brief run down of the story line they are aiming to present in this -soon to be- epic film clip.

“Each animator will be able to take ownership over their own segment, working in their own styles and mediums and with their own character and background designs. A selected few will also have a brief appearance at the end to tie all the characters into the same scene when they receive the text.”

As for song itself, it is a very slow paced, deep track that sets out to successfully compliment HEAP’s vocals. You’re quite the produce Mr. Mau5!
