There has been many rumour circulating around Australian dance musics golden child ‘The Presets‘ and the possibility of a new album in 2012.

This has most recently come in to question after the appearance of Julian Hamilton (One half of The Presets) on the Australian version of the worldwide franchise TV show ‘The Voice’. Hamilton appeared on the show to explore the possibility of composing a song with Keith Urban’s mentor Megan Hamilton that would be used by the eventual winner of the show.

Was this PR stunt set up by Modular to help the duo get more exposure in lead up to something or was this just a humble approach by the franchise to utilise Hamilton’s song writing ability?

If I could send a message to the duo, I would tell them that now is the time for them to inject their originality back into the scene and eff sh%^ up. The cd should be launched on the day the earth is supposed to end on the Mayan calendar. (In reference to their last album Apocalypso) But even if they don’t do anything, their music has stood the test of time.
