Jillionaire let slip November last year that there would be fresh Major Lazer material on the way in 2014 with Diplo now teasing a host of featured guests for an EP and potential track with the big cheese Deadmau5.

We’re not exactly sure if the Deadmau5 tweet means the new drop will land in the form of a Diplo production but we do have confirmation of a Major Lazer EP next month with a host of guest features from a mainly dancehall cast with faded MC Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Machel Montano and more all name checked – hell Diplo even cites Daft Punks right hand man Pharrell Williams as a contributor.

If Diplo’s skittish output is anything to go by (remember that Grizzly Bear remix or production duties for Beiber?) the next crop of Major Lazer material is surely going to push boundaries, maybe not strictly dance ones but boundaries all the same.

Personally all we want to hear is debut material as Jack U, his collaboration with OWSLA label owner Skrillex after they DJ’d the San Diego leg of the Mad Decent parties…
