Enigmatic producer Burial drops ravey ‘Chemz/Dolphin’ EP

Enigmatic producer Burial dropped this beastly double-tracker over the break too much fanfare from new and old fans.

The EP, dubbed ‘Chemz/Dolphin’ is pure electrified hardcore goodness. We’re only privvy to “Chemz” with the b-side not due for release until April sometime but the lead track showcases that supercharged euphoria that only comes from a big night out with friends. Oh yeah, it’s a cool 12 minutes plus!

A quick blurb taken from the Bandcamp page summarises it further;

‘Chemz’ is hooky, rushy and loved up – both an unhinged premonition of unleashed post-pandemic joy and a demonic flashback to past ecstasies in a hardcore style perfected in the UK. ‘Chemz’ is a 12 minute rave monster that has ingested several tracks and incorporated them into its distended body’

The EP actually follows even more new music in the form of a giant collaboration with Four Tet and Thom Yorke of Radiohead that dropped early December.

Expect to be hearing this in a trove of mixes coming through 2021 from all your favourites. Pre-order the release on Bandcamp now.
