Mount Kimbie teased a triumphant return and boy they delivered featuring not just long-time collaborator James Blake but UK rapper slowthai.

The track “feel away” is actually a slowthai original but does feature the additional UK natives on the track and to be honest, feels like even effort from all parties post a couple of listens.

What starts out with the iconic rappers gritty lyrical content soon evolves with more bubbling electronica courtesy of team Kimbie and sporadically, Blakes unique vocals peppered through.

This isn’t the first time Mount Kimbie and James Blake have worked together with original music spanning back to 2017 on their track “We Go Home Together”.

Meanwhile slowthai has been on a cosmic ascension with his own witty and raw cuts alongside big-time collaborations and features with Tyler The Creator, Brockhampton and more recently The Gorillaz.
