Nike are releasing sneakers as ode to Berlin Techno

Warehouse party heads! Berlin’s club culture has been given a new monument in the form of some delicious classic and techno inspired Nike sneakers.

Paying homage to that cultural revolution post Berlin wall coming down, the ‘Air Max 180 BLN’ are a traditional Nike sneaker meets hi-vis vibe including splashes of green and pink that’ll glow in the dark. These bad boys feature the words Unity and Freedom on the outsoles that’s meant to serve as an ode to the city’s famous club-oriented nightlife.

If you’re hoping to get these sneakers in Australia, there’s not great news. They’re exclusively available in Europe for a spicy retail price of €150 (about $250 Australian dollarydoos). The silver lining is you better buy your tickets to Berlin where the shoe will be on sale on March 26th, 2019 before being rolled across Europe on the 30th of March. Ooft!
