For any die-hard Richie Hawtin fans out there, you could safely assume catching the veteran selector at one of the most notorious nightclubs in the world would be quite the experience. Well, it’s happening again for the first time in 6-years!
After a long hiatus from Berghain, Hawtin will make a triumphant (hopefully) return to the Berlin stronghold on June 29th, playing alongside Panorama Bar resident, Roi Perez. This will be a night to remember, no doubt.
Of course it’s not all fond memories between Hawtin and Berghain, with the Canadian producer/DJ finding himself kicked out of the venue back in 2009, leading to a Facebook post from Hawtin wherein he said the club needs “a serious attitude adjustment”.
Thankfully, it looks like the bridges have been built. If you find yourself in Berlin at the end of the month, be sure to head along!
