Brisbane artist Austen has unveiled another impressive addition to her catalogue with Too High To Cry. 

This is the first release of 2018 for Austen, who has been a solid blip on the radar for a while now. She first turned heads in 2015 with the stand-out single Faded, and now 3-years on, the 23-year-old singer/songwriter is showcasing a progression in her craft that is truly impressive, with her new single proving to be the result of plenty of hard work and experience.

The layered, brooding instrumentals of Too High To Cry matched with Austen’s familiar yet unique vocal range create a mesmerising, neo-pop track with very clear electronic influence. Having supported The Kite String Tangle on his national tour and running a successful showcase at EMC Conference last year, it’s safe to assume that Austen is rolling with serious momentum.
