Less than two weeks ago, French Touch legends Stardust were revealed to be back in the studio for the first time in many, many moons, and the confirmation of what the trio were up to is finally out.
The one and only release from the Stardust project – spawned by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, Alan Braxe and Benjamin Diamond – has turned 20 years old, and to celebrate two decades of this house gem, Music Sounds Better With You is set to be remastered.
Speaking wiht Billboard, Braxe says “It sounds good, but compared to today it sounds a bit old, and I thought it’s a good thing to try and update it. We did some very subtle compression, it sounds a bit like on the original 12-inch.”
There is no mention of a release date as of yet, but this news will certainly put a smile on your face on this grim, Monday morning. To keep the vibes high, dive into our 10 timeless French Touch tunes here.
