Almost 4 years have passed since the last RL Grime record and as the world patiently awaits the release of his forthcoming album, NOVA, some trap enthusiasts have scoured the internet for clues about the American producer’s new music.

Over the weekend, some budding Redditors have discovered a thread that reveals another RL Grime track, which is presumably also on NOVA. The new joint comes from a small portion of the producer’s recent Ultra Music Festival 2018 set, which was thankfully uploaded to the internet by YouTube user, Mi5taKlean.

The track appears without any official ID, but RL Grime did mention he had produced a song with Miguel during his appearance on the popular Fortnite streamer Ninja’s stream last month. As the track is introduced, RL can be heard asking the audience if “you guys want some more new music?”. The unreleased tune’s vocals sound considerably similar to that of Miguel with a distinctly soul and R&B influence. As the drop enters, some heavy 808s enter the fray and the speakers begin to shudder.

Despite this discovery, RL Grime has remained tight-lipped over the release of his latest full-length, having only dropped ‘I Wanna Know’, it’s first single earlier this year. Stay tuned trap lords and watch his full Ultra 2018 set below (from 35:05).
