Gorillaz announce new album ‘The Now Now’ dropping next month

UK band Gorillaz have announced their 6th studio album ‘The Now Now’, which is set to drop in June.

The album – which was reportedly left on a USB in a taxi by co-founder Damon Albarn – has copped it’s own website that shares a snippet of a forthcoming song along with the release date of June 29th.

‘The Now Now’ comes as no real surprise, with co-founder Jamie Hewlett revealing back in October that the band was set to release an album in 2018 – a rather swift turn around from their 2017 album Humanz‘. We can also expect a feature form Sydney’s own Flume on the forthcoming album, with Albarn telling Beat 1 Radio that he was working with the producer back in November.

Plenty to look forward to from the Gorillaz camp. Check the website for ‘The Now Now’ here, and get ready for June 29th.
