British producer Daniel Avery has announced a new remix EP set to drop in July, featuring none other than Four Tet.
The track Quick Eternity from his recent album Songs For Alpha, will be the foal point of the project, inclusive of . Four Tet remix and a club edit of the original. The project will be getting a limited release for this year’s Field Day in London, ahead of it’s proper release later on int he Summer (our Winter).
The nearly 9-minute original track is a mellow, almost ambient style cut, with a very subtle kick that is drowned beneath droning chords. One can only imagine what lengths of experimentation Four Tet will go with this gem. and if it’s anything like his latest remix of Bicep’s ‘Opal‘, we’re in for a doozy.
