Video Premiere: ISY ISY offers a brooding take on electronic pop in ‘All The Time’

We’re inviting you to welcome in the weekend with a premiere video release for ‘All The Time’ by ISY ISY – one of the most promising vocalists we’ve heard in a while.

26 year old Byron Bay artist ISY ISY (IRL: Isabella Piper) released her debut single ‘All The Time’ to a whole lot of love last month. Since then, she’s nabbed a support slot on alt-pop extraordinaire G Flip’s debut tour via Future Classic, been thrown on the Triple J airwaves via Home & Hosed, and maintained a sweet number 4 on the Unearthed Electronic Charts. Taking some serious pointers from the work of Wafia, Banks, and FKA Twigs, her unique vocal tone, unapologetic self love, and expressive style has captured our hearts, and we know she’ll snatch yours up too.

In the lead up to the May release of her debut EP,  ‘Levels’,  ISY ISY has given us the pleasure of offering up the visuals for All The Time to you fine folk.

In the words of the songstress herself, “‘All The Time’ is about having lived in the moment, being lost for direction, and then falling in love with yourself again. And late nights driving nowhere.” says Isabella. The visual style of the video compliments the song to a tee. Filled with dark, brooding, nostaligia-inducing shots, the rolling bass lines drive the song as she drives through the night.

ISY ISY will support SXSW sensation G Flip at her sold out debut show at Oxford Art Factory on May 3rd. You can follow her happenings, including the release of her debut EP ‘Levels’ right hurr.
