Taking it back to a dubby time this morning, honouring none other than one of the sub-genres forefathers, Skream.
Released as part of his self-titled 2006 album, ‘Dutch Flowerz’ sees the London local delve into dub soundscapes, a sound that he may not have realised was about to take the world by storm.
The track is relatively bare in terms of its production, but for the time it proved to be one of the most defining sounds on the record, and saw Skream – along with his contemporaries such as Benga, Kode 9 and more.
Revisit ‘Dutch Flowerz’ below and enjoy those subtle wubs.
