Premiere: Basenji shares long-awaited edit of HudMo’s ‘Chimes’

After what feels like an eternity, Basenji has finally unleashed his monstrous bootleg of Hudson Mohawke’s ‘Chimes’.

The first release of 2018 for the Sydney artist, the track follows a string of huge releases over the past 12-months in ‘Don’t Let Go’ ft. Mereki and ‘Mistakes’ ft. Tkay Maidza, and sees Basenji going back to his club music roots.

If you’ve attended a set from the Sydney producer at any point over the past few years, you would have certainly heard this high-energy rework, which dismantles the bass-driven, 2014 original and rebuilds it into a fast paced, Jersey Club inspired cut.

The track kicks off a month of releases from Basenji, who will be sharing new music every week until the start of his up-coming Aus tour.

Listen to his bootleg of ‘Chimes’ below, and grab tickets for the tour right here.

Tour Dates
