A clinical baseline acts as the foundation for the jackin’ remix which is introduced over the initial 3 minutes. Claptone’s originally fluffy and soul infused piano rythm is reinvented into a more purposeful and similarly danceable product.

Accompanying this groovy instrumentation is Ben Duffy’s stunning vocals which are certainly the highlight of this rework. You’d be mistaken for thinking that ‘In The Night’ was a cut selected from the impressive RUFUS or Moderat back-catalogues.
