Following last year’s stellar performances from Tkay Maidza, Nyxen and Safia, Curve Ball is returning for the third time this Vivid for another night of Australia’s most prolific acts in dance music. Taking place at Carriageworks as always, headline acts include the likes of Alison Wonderland, Vera Blue and Crooked Colours.

With her largely anticipated sophomore album on the cusp of release, Alison Wonderland has proved her self to be a global player in the EDM landscape, with her highly acclaimed debut album a favourite among hip-hop enthusiasts and clubbers alike. With a series of remixes and a beloved new single ‘Church’ under her belt, she’s guaranteed to populate Carriageworks in an instant.

Joining Alison Wonderland will be singer-songwriter Vera Blue, an artist whose experiments in pop and folk music have blessed the airwaves since entering the public consciousness in 2013 with her debut full-length LP ‘This Music’ under the Celia Pavey guise. Her exceptional fusion of folk and contemporary electronic music has seen her collaborate with the likes of Flume, Slumberjack and Ngaiire. Additionally, Crooked Colours will bring their live set to the main stage following their debut album ‘Vera’, a dreamy concoction of live instrumentation and sparkling electronics.

Curve Ball will also feature a myriad of other acts such as Poloshirt (Polographia & Winston Surfshirt), E^ST, Haiku Hands, Kira Puru, Flexmami and more to be announced. Tickets will be available from this Thursday the 22nd of March.
