Renowned Grime figurehead Stormin has passed away, as confirmed by Metro overnight.
It was confirmed that the popular, UK based MC lost his battle with skin cancer on the morning of February 19, after a 3-year battle with the disease.
He addressed fans and friends alike in 2016 that he was diagnosed with stage 2 skin cancer, writing “Is it a test? No it’s a fight I will win so when I’m gone just know it’s for a short time and I’ll #BRB”. He later went on to release the album ‘#BRB (Be Right Back)’ that addressed his struggle with cancer.
In November of 2017, Stormin revealed that he was cancer free following treatment, however his health continued to fade over the coming months.
The legendary MC was the man behind underground cuts such as ‘">Cursed‘ and a plethora of effortless freestyle videos such as ‘">Bars N Bass’ and ">‘ADHD Freestyle‘.
