Prolific American DJ and producer, Diplo, returns to the fray with an hour-long, hip-hop themed mixtape titled ‘Give & Go’.

Diplo is a known musical workhorse and man of many talents, having just released his new tune ‘Look Back’ featuring a building, soul ballad from rising rapper, DRAM. However, this ‘Give & Go’ release coincides with the much-hyped, NBA All Star game at the weekend.

The Mad Decent label boss showcases 30 tracks from all star MC’s such as Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, The Weeknd and Drake. The mix does not deviate far from Diplo’s hip-hop background, with a selection of recently released bangers scattered among a number of slightly older joints.

Highlights across the hour include ASAP FERG’s thuggish track ‘Plain Jane’, Migos’ highly contagious banger ‘Stir Fry’ and Zo’s understated ‘Zo2’. Each track easily able to soundtrack an afternoon hoops session. Flavours of EDM and trap also appear in the form of Skrillex’s remix of ‘Humble’ and Rich Brian’s ‘18’ which features heavier beats produced by Baauer. Keep an eye out for more releases in 2018 from one of electronic dance music’s busiest artists.
